There are lots of fun things for kids see and do in Suisun City, Fairfield and Vallejo, and it’s sunny here almost all year round so you can spend lots of time outdoors playing ball, riding in the park, and picnicking with your family. There are plenty of local parks and each city has a full range of recreational events and youth sporting teams. Suisun City and Vallejo have waterfronts that are fun to explore. You can go boating or fishing with your family.
Vallejo is home to one of California’s most exciting and fun amusement parks, Six Flags Marine World, which has a really good animal park and oceanarium as well as a fun theme park. You can meet Looney Tunes characters, ride a roller coaster, get up close to dolphins and meet an elephant, all in one day.
There is also a wide range of dance groups and art happenings for kids, and the local libraries have excellent programs for toddlers, kids and teens.
